Corporate Development & Strategy Director

Location: DC-Washington-TWP Headquarters, United States; on-site five days a week

Salary: $172,300–$320,100 annual, with potential bonus or incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Build and implement a corporate development strategy aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Develop investment theses and a qualified pipeline across acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, partnerships, and other growth opportunities.
• Lead valuation models, business cases, return scenarios, risk assessments, and comprehensive due diligence.
• Structure and negotiate transactions with Finance, Legal, executive sponsors, and operational stakeholders.
• Advise senior executives on transaction alternatives, market developments, and competitive dynamics.
• Coordinate transition and integration planning to move approved deals toward measurable business value.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, strategic partnerships, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, strategy, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience evaluating and executing complex acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, partnerships, or comparable strategic transactions.
• Advanced financial modeling, valuation, business-case development, and due diligence skills.
• Strong transaction strategy, structuring, negotiation, communication, and relationship-management abilities.
• Ability to lead sensitive, time-critical, cross-functional initiatives and make recommendations under uncertainty.

Nice to have

• MBA or another relevant advanced degree.
• Experience in media, digital content, consumer technology, subscriptions, advertising, marketplaces, or adjacent industries.
• Experience scaling a corporate development function, transaction pipeline, integration planning, or value-realization programs.
• Established relationships with founders, investors, advisers, bankers, and strategic partners.
