Strategic Engagements Specialist II (Marketing Communications)

Location: Falls Church, Virginia, United States; work is primarily performed in an office environment.

Salary: $60,000–$85,000 per year, with the final offer based on location, skillset, and experience.

What you will do

• Execute strategic engagement plans to build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate the intake, staffing, review, and execution of engagement requests.
• Serve as a primary point of contact and action officer between the DCSC and Department of Defense stakeholders.
• Maintain records of past and future engagement activities and prepare weekly 5W or AAR reports.
• Develop communication strategies and present the organization's value proposition through public speaking, presentations, and written communications.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and align engagement strategies with operational initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in strategic engagement, relationship management, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Secret level.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop long-term engagement plans, use data and metrics for decision-making, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Department of Defense experience is preferred; Defense Health Agency or Military Health System experience is highly desired.
