Sr. Accountant, Corporate Accounting

Location: New York, New York; hybrid schedule requiring office attendance at least four days per week. Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Support monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, intercompany processing, reporting, and corporate data requests.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, related analyses, and intercompany recharges across hirify.global, Comcast, and SKY.
• Coordinate with domestic and international business teams and the global finance service provider to meet close-to-report timelines.
• Assist with annual UK statutory accounts and provide support during the annual UK audit.
• Support business process redesign, application implementations, testing, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA qualification or progress toward CPA certification.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting activities, GAAP reporting, and transfer pricing requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, multitasking, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Big Four public accounting experience.
• Knowledge of SAP/S4 and BlackLine.
• Experience working in a large multinational corporation.
• Experience working with AI tools, preferably Copilot.
