TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer (CI/CD and AI): Building and modernizing CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and infrastructure for a microservices platform with an accent on deployment safety, reusable automation, and software supply-chain security. Focus on progressive delivery, pipeline performance, infrastructure as code, observability, and integrating AI-assisted diagnostics and testing workflows.
Location: Remote across Mexico; employees located within 80 kilometers of the Guadalajara office are expected to work onsite. Office: Guadalajara/Zapopan, Jalisco.

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines as code across multiple services and engineering teams.
- Improve deployment safety through canary, blue/green, and feature-flag-based releases.
- Create reusable pipeline templates, shared libraries, and self-service developer tooling.
- Improve build performance through caching, parallelization, and workflow optimization.
- Implement software supply-chain security practices, including dependency scanning, artifact signing, and SBOM generation.
- Use Infrastructure-as-Code, monitoring, and AI-assisted capabilities to improve pipeline reliability, testing, diagnostics, and failure triage.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps or software engineering experience focused on CI/CD and developer tooling.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Buildkite, including pipelines as code and reusable templates.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and/or Ansible, and Linux administration.
- Scripting skills with Bash, Python, or Go.
- Experience with Kafka, Redis, or RabbitMQ, plus observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.
- Strong communication skills and experience driving tooling adoption across engineering teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Argo Rollouts, Flagger, feature-flag platforms, or progressive delivery tooling.
- Familiarity with Nexus, Sigstore/cosign, Syft, Snyk, or Trivy.
- Experience applying AI/LLM-based tools to development, testing, troubleshooting, code review, or CI/CD workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
