Head of Operations (AI)

Location: Remote in the UK or Europe; a face-to-face hiring stage takes place in or near London.

What you will do

• Lead HR, talent acquisition, technical support, compliance and IT, finance, and partnership with legal.
• Drive the internal AI transformation by identifying opportunities to replace or accelerate operational work.
• Own HR operations, EOR administration through Remote.com, and employee relations across a distributed workforce.
• Manage Vanta, SOC2 and ISO audit cycles, IT operations, technical support, access management, tooling, and vendors.
• Lead budgeting, financial accountability, and cost-saving initiatives alongside the Financial Controller.
• Support a fast-moving, performance-oriented culture with a lean and autonomous operating model.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience running HR and business operations, including close collaboration with finance.
• Experience owning IT operations and business systems, including access management, tooling, and vendor management.
• Startup or scale-up experience in fast-paced SaaS or technology environments.
• Experience managing operations for a global workforce.
• Demonstrable use of AI in operational work.
