Head of Operations (Fintech)

Location: Cyprus, with temporary remote work and future relocation to the Limassol office

Company

Developing a payment gateway for accepting funds on behalf of merchants and sending funds from merchants to users, with integrations across payment systems, providers, gateways, processors, and 3DS.

What you will do

• Build the operating model, including planning cycles, management meetings, reporting, and follow-up routines.
• Translate company priorities into execution plans with owners, milestones, KPIs, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead project and cross-functional delivery across Product, Engineering, Merchant Operations, Business Development, Marketing, and other teams.
• Establish project standards that improve visibility, predictability, and accountability.
• Lead HR and People Operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, workforce planning, and employee processes.
• Develop operational dashboards, improve processes, partner with Finance on planning, and oversee office administration and operational expenditure.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Operations, Business Operations, Project or Programme Management, Consulting, Chief of Staff, COO Office, or a related leadership role.
• Experience in technology, SaaS, fintech, or another fast-moving environment.
• Proven ability to build scalable processes and operating structures in a growing organisation.
• Strong cross-functional project and programme management experience, including work with senior stakeholders and team leadership.
• Knowledge of organisational design, performance management, workforce planning, and HR or People Operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and execution skills.

• Technical interview lasting one hour, followed by a task test.
