Annual pay range: $155,000–$250,000 USD

What you will do

• Design mechanical solutions for enterprise intercom hardware, including audio, cameras, RF, buttons, mounting, sealing, thermal management, environmental resistance, and tamper resistance.
• Drive products from proof of concept through mass production.
• Integrate PCBAs, sensors, interconnects, and other electro-mechanical elements in collaboration with Electrical Engineering.
• Prototype and test concepts with Industrial Design, and finalize product form and CMF.
• Work with vendors on DFM/DFA, quoting, tooling release, bring-up, and validation.
• Develop reliability test plans and DoEs, support failure analysis, and guide products through EVT, DVT, and PVT builds with manufacturing partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Five years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, and electro-mechanical systems and products.
• Track record of designing and manufacturing enterprise or consumer electronic products.
• Mastery of 3D CAD software and hands-on experience building and testing hardware.
• Experience with overseas supply chains, part vendors, DFM, tooling bring-up, and validation.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 15%.
