What you will do
- Lead technical design teams across multi-disciplinary and multi-site development programs.
- Develop technical action plans and align priorities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify technical risks early and propose solutions regarding cost, timing, and requirements.
- Design, build, and test prototypes to evaluate and characterize product performance.
- Collaborate with experts to implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and support internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in product development and mechanical design.
- Strong knowledge of FDA and ISO regulatory standards.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and other engineering design tools.
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing, injection molding, and automation processes.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and solving complex engineering challenges.
