Full Stack Engineer, Observability (AI)

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $145,500–$235,400 annual base pay depending on US geographic zone, plus RSUs and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship backend features across the Vega platform, including APIs, Go services, agent infrastructure, and data pipelines.
• Expand Vega from an Observability-focused assistant into Feature Management, including flag cleanup automation and natural-language dashboard creation.
• Design safe, sandboxed AI agent execution infrastructure with isolation, resource limits, permissions, and auditability.
• Build high-throughput data import, export, metering, and usage pipelines for enterprise workflows and usage-based monetization.
• Own features from prototyping and API design through production rollout, iteration, monitoring, and on-call support.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, engineering standards, and mentoring across Observability and Vega teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production-quality backend systems.
• Proficiency in Go or a similar language such as Java, Rust, or C++, with experience designing APIs and distributed services.
• Experience building or integrating LLM-powered features, agents, or AI-driven workflows.
• Experience with data-intensive systems, streaming pipelines, columnar stores such as ClickHouse, or high-volume ingest.
• Strong product judgment, communication, collaboration, and ability to translate ambiguous requirements into well-scoped solutions.
• Availability for on-call rotations and ownership of production reliability.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with hirify.global, feature flagging, or observability tooling.
• Experience with usage-based product surfaces, sandboxing or isolation technologies, or developer tooling.
