Senior Software Engineer II - Risk (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Develop and implement scalable, performant solutions for web applications and data pipelines.
• Maintain and expand systems serving complex healthcare use cases.
• Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
• Minimize operational risk through observability, alerting, metrics, test coverage, and frequent incremental releases.
• Review pull requests and mentor and coach junior engineers.

Requirements

• BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience building full-stack web applications in cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years of experience querying large, multi-table datasets with SQL or another database query language.
• 3+ years of experience making technical decisions that balance short-term and long-term business value.
• 3+ years of experience coaching other engineers.
• Experience with a server-side web technology, relational databases, APIs, cloud technologies, and systems handling sensitive data.

Nice to have

• Experience with data ingestion systems and large-scale data processing and analysis.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
