Senior Software Engineer (React)

Location: Red Bank, New Jersey, United States; hybrid work model

Salary: $92,600–$231,600 annualized base pay

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and distributed services.
• Build user interfaces with React and backend services and APIs with Python and/or Go.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL-based relational databases.
• Use AWS services including ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and API Gateway to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Own features end to end across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Lead technical design discussions, collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building modern web applications with React.
• Proficiency in backend development with Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, cloud-native architecture, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, secure coding, and clean, maintainable, testable code.

Nice to have

• Experience with both Python and Go.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 security practices.
