Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Manage billing operations, accounts receivable, claim corrections, appeals, rebills, denials, and payment variance resolution.
• Analyze claims, payer performance, reimbursement trends, underpayments, overpayments, and revenue leakage.
• Maintain payer master records, reimbursement schedules, fee schedules, and reimbursement tables in laboratory billing systems.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs using billing systems, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
• Partner with Finance, Billing Operations, Credentialing, Payor Enrollment, Information Technology, Sales, and Client Services on revenue cycle improvements.
• Define requirements, support user acceptance testing, and implement billing system, reporting, and automation enhancements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare billing, reimbursement, revenue cycle, claims management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory billing, collections, accounts receivable, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, managed care, and payer reimbursement methodologies.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, complex formulas, data manipulation, dashboards, and trend analysis.
• Experience with billing systems, XIFIN, payer contract administration, reimbursement schedule maintenance, and operational or financial reporting.
• Experience with Ascend Data Warehouse or similar business intelligence platforms; Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or comparable analytics tools.
• Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, communicate recommendations, manage multiple priorities, and handle confidential patient and financial information.

Nice to have

• Revenue cycle, coding, billing, or healthcare finance certification such as CRCR, CPB, CPC, or HFMA.
• Bilingual experience.
