Lab Data Entry QC Review - Tues-Sat 8am-4:30pm

Location: Lenexa, Kansas, USA; onsite laboratory role. Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Review and audit order-entry information in LIMS and other laboratory test-ordering systems.
• Perform accessioning, data entry, record corrections, and maintenance of laboratory databases.
• Examine, label, store, and route specimens while checking sample type, stability, volume, and other requirements.
• Resolve patient demographic discrepancies and communicate with laboratory associates and other contacts.
• Maintain quality control, quality assurance, documentation, safety, and regulatory records.
• Support laboratory projects and, at higher levels, manage escalated issues, analyze data-entry errors, train associates, and improve workflows.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfort handling raw specimens and ability to stand in the laboratory for four or more hours and lift items up to 25 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, communication, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with PC-based software and database systems; one year of data-entry experience preferred.
• Specimen-processing experience is preferred. Level II requires two years of clinical laboratory experience or one year at Level I; Level III requires three years or one year at Level II.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States without employment-visa sponsorship.
