Transportation Engineering Intern (Civil/Structural)

Location: Owings Mills, Maryland; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

Compensation: $45,675–$51,903 per year

What you will do

• Assist senior and junior designers with transportation infrastructure projects.
• Prepare drawings and specifications using MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer.
• Format reports and specifications for project documentation.
• Manage electronic project files, including printing and scanning.
• Use company-wide and department-specific software to complete project assignments.
• Support projects involving public transit, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, roadways, bridges, and other large structures.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Degree program must be at an ABET-accredited university or NCEES-equivalent institution.
• Must be able to work in the Owings Mills, Maryland office at least 3 days per week.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with OpenRoads Designer or MicroStation.
• Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction management industry.
• Availability for an internship of at least 3 months.
• Availability to work full-time during the internship is preferred.
