DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; onsite at the headquarters with approximately 15–20% domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end deployment lifecycle from source control and builds through production, edge deployment, monitoring, upgrades, recovery, and operations.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code systems, and automation tooling.
• Deploy and operate containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes across cloud, on-premises, and distributed edge environments.
• Develop observability, logging, health monitoring, configuration management, application lifecycle management, and fleet management capabilities.
• Design reliable release, rollback, disaster recovery, and failure recovery mechanisms.
• Partner with engineers, technical leaders, customers, and field teams; support production systems and participate in on-call operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, infrastructure engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong foundations in Linux, networking, systems, distributed systems, APIs, and software development workflows.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, containerized deployments, and at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, Git-based workflows, automated testing, deployment validation, monitoring, and rollback processes.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or another language used for infrastructure automation, plus practical knowledge of access control, vulnerability management, secrets management, and secure configuration.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15–20% domestically and internationally.

• Experience deploying software in distributed, on-premises, or edge environments.
• Experience supporting field operations, customer environments, or system integration activities.
