Senior Production Planner (Biotechnology)

Location: On-site in Waltham, Massachusetts, United States

Annual salary: $90,000–$150,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, material availability, labor capacity, and equipment utilization.
• Manage and adjust production plans in Oracle to respond to changing business conditions and protect customer commitments.
• Create, analyze, and communicate KPIs for planning effectiveness and data-driven decision-making.
• Lead root cause investigations into planning, supply, and production challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Drive cross-functional projects involving process improvement, system optimization, capacity enhancement, and supply chain excellence.

Requirements

• Degree or master's degree in a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in production and material planning.
• Experience with supply chain planning functions in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Ability to recommend changes to planning attributes to improve supply.
• Strong data analysis, presentation, prioritization, multitasking, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP for planning.
• Experience using Power BI to create reports and analyze data.
• APICS CPIM certification.
