What you will do

• Develop and implement concepts for complex mechanical product engineering solutions.
• Design custom mechanical tooling, equipment layouts, schematics, specifications, and improved subsystems.
• Lead or execute R&D engineering projects, focusing on the mechanical aspects of equipment solutions.
• Determine materials and fabrication processes and coordinate procurement, assembly, manufacturing, and installation.
• Perform complex engineering analysis, FEA simulation, and tolerance analysis for parts and assemblies.
• Specify mechanical system tests, oversee assembly and testing, and troubleshoot issues at manufacturing and customer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10–15 years of experience.
• Deep technical expertise in equipment design, assembly, and part fabrication.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for explaining complex information and building consensus.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment, especially wet processing equipment, is preferred.
• Ability to work in Billerica, Massachusetts, and visit manufacturing and customer sites.
