Software Engineer, Growth (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA; onsite

Base salary: $133,000–$184,000 annually, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and ship consumer growth features end to end using React, TypeScript, Rails, and Go.
• Design and launch APIs, services, interfaces, and experiments that improve member growth.
• Prototype and iterate on A/B tests targeting activation, conversion, and engagement.
• Collaborate with product, design, mobile, data science, marketing, and analytics teams.
• Analyze post-launch performance and use metrics to guide product decisions.
• Improve reliability, scalability, latency, throughput, page-load performance, and funnel conversion across the stack.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building scalable software in production environments.
• Experience with React or a comparable modern frontend framework and Ruby on Rails, Go, or a comparable server-side framework.
• Experience designing APIs and working with transactional databases and caching.
• Knowledge of client-side state management, performance optimization, and component-driven UI.
• Ability to own features across the full stack and apply a product-oriented, metrics-driven approach.
• Exposure to large-scale architecture patterns and clean, maintainable code practices.
