Software Engineer, Full Stack, Growth Team (Go/React)

Location: New York City, NY; hybrid attendance in the office three times a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday is required.

Base salary: $160,000–$190,000 per year, plus potential equity, annual cash bonus, unlimited PTO, and medical benefits.

What you will do

• Build backend services, APIs, and data flows for account management and growth features.
• Develop frontend experiences in React and Next.js, including landing pages and purchase funnels.
• Drive growth through rapid experimentation, A/B testing, feature flags, and data-informed development.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers during discovery and ideation.
• Debug systems, optimize performance, and deliver clean, well-tested code.
• Use AI coding assistants such as Claude and Cursor while evaluating and validating their output.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of experience delivering working software, preferably web applications.
• Strong backend experience in Go or another compiled language, with the ability to ramp up on Go quickly.
• Experience with Postgres, Redis/Valkey or similar databases, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of immutability concepts, CSS, responsive design, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of engineering best practices for SEO.
• Interest in emerging tools, technical direction, learning, and knowledge sharing.
