Procurement Intern

Location: New York, NY; hybrid with three days per week in the office required

Salary: $36.00 per hour in New York

What you will do

• Support sourcing projects through market research, supplier identification, competitive analysis, and RFP/RFQ activities.
• Collect and analyze spend, supplier, pricing, and contract data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare pricing comparisons, benchmarks, and historical spend analysis to support supplier negotiations.
• Maintain procurement trackers, supplier records, contract data, and reporting dashboards.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, purchase requests, renewals, supplier consolidation, and process improvement.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, IT, and business stakeholders and prepare procurement reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and comfort working with data.
• Ability to organize multiple assignments and meet deadlines while collaborating with different teams.
• Interest in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, finance, or vendor management.
