Filling Operator

Location: Alliston, Ontario, Canada; onsite afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 15:00–23:00 EST

Salary: $26.55 CAD per hour, plus a possible shift premium for eligible hours

What you will do

• Fill IV solutions into bags of various sizes and perform visual inspections of bag assemblies.
• Weigh filled bags at regular intervals to verify proper fill volume.
• Inspect fill volume, air volume, codes, expiration dates, lot numbers, and other quality characteristics.
• Place bags into protective over-wrap, operate the sealing machine, and load sealed assemblies onto sterilizer trucks.
• Document rejected units, rework bags when necessary, and complete quality checks throughout the process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following 6S principles and reporting safety, quality, mechanical, or discrepancy issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; proof will be requested.
• Ability to pass an ergonomic assessment and perform repetitive essential duties.
• Experience with repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Manufacturing or quality experience in a GMP environment, preferably in food or manufacturing production.
• Ability to work in an assembly-line setting, follow SOPs and cGMP standards, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work weekends and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
