Bridge CAD Technician

What you will do

• Review construction plans, detailed drawings, and technical figures for accuracy and compliance with design standards.
• Convert conceptual sketches, redlines, and markups into complete CAD drawings for project and client use.
• Develop preliminary and final engineering plan sets for municipal and transportation bridge projects.
• Coordinate design elements with engineers, designers, and drafters, resolving discrepancies across disciplines.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and supporting project deliverables.
• Incorporate revisions and feedback while maintaining drawing quality and project timelines.

Requirements

• Onsite work in Dallas, Texas.
• At least 1 year of related bridge CAD experience; 4+ years of experience are listed for the position.
• Bridge CAD experience, preferably within Texas.
• Proficiency with some or all of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
• Ability to work in a professional office environment with extended sitting and repetitive motions; occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds may be required.
