Avionics Equipment Engineer - Aircraft General Systems (d/f/m) (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop aircraft general systems control avionics for the Eurofighter and future military aircraft programmes.
• Specify, test, and generate certification evidence for airborne equipment and software.
• Guide suppliers through the design, development, qualification, and manufacture of avionics equipment and software.
• Support the integration of systems and system components into aircraft.
• Provide system engineering support for aircraft build, flight testing, maintenance, repair and overhaul, and retrofit programmes.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and partner companies in national and international programmes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a related field and experience in a comparable role.
• Experience with electronics, avionics development, embedded systems, and requirements engineering.
• Knowledge of hardware and software design assurance standards, environmental qualification, and electromagnetic effects qualification.
• Fluent English required; German is beneficial.
