Senior Programmer Analyst (QA Automation)

Location: New Brunswick, Canada; remote and hybrid work options available. Candidates must have resided in Canada for at least five years and hold Canadian permanent resident or citizenship status.

Salary: CAD 73,465–91,831 annually, plus eligibility for performance-based incentive programs.

What you will do

• Manage the daily operation, administration, support, and optimization of enterprise QA and testing platforms.
• Own vendor relationships, including issue resolution, service reviews, contract renewals, and product roadmap discussions.
• Coordinate platform upgrades, enhancements, patches, and release activities while minimizing operational risk.
• Support test planning, defect management, requirements traceability, reporting, governance, and audit processes.
• Collaborate with business, development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams to gather requirements and deliver platform improvements.
• Provide technical leadership, knowledge sharing, tool evaluations, and continuous improvement across the QA ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing automated tests with modern frameworks and tools.
• Strong experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, Node, Git/GitLab, and Oracle RDBMS.
• Practical experience with Selenium, Selenium JS, WebdriverIO, Protractor, Cucumber, BDD, TDD, and CI/CD.
• 3+ years supporting QA operations and administering tools such as JIRA, ConnectALL, and ALM.
• English spoken and written is required. Candidates must be eligible to obtain Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B), including fingerprinting, criminal record, and credit checks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and containerized environments.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, modern software design patterns, Lean Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery.
• Experience mentoring developers or QA automation professionals and integrating multiple testing tools.
• French spoken and written is an asset.
