Intermediate Technical Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst – Software

Location: Remote, residing in Canada only.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated browser tests using Playwright.
• Perform UI, functional, regression, cross-browser, and visual testing, especially for Nectar Pay.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to validate technical, business, usability, and design requirements.
• Write test plans and test cases, and maintain QA documentation and client-facing Confluence articles.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and development meetings within Agile processes.
• Provide UI/UX feedback and contribute to product quality and reliability.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software quality assurance experience with a strong background in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, preferably using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of web application testing, including UI, functional, regression, and cross-browser testing.
• Proficiency in English and the ability to write professional documentation and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile development teams and with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to understand business context and contribute to product usability and design validation.

Nice to have

• Prior software development experience, particularly with JavaScript, to support writing and debugging automated tests.
• Familiarity with additional automation tools or frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.
• UI/UX sensibility and the ability to identify discrepancies between implemented and intended designs.
• Experience testing payment platforms or transactional systems.
