Intermediate Technical Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst – Software (Playwright)

Location: Remote, residing in Canada only

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated browser tests using Playwright.
• Perform UI, functional, regression, cross-browser, and visual accuracy testing, especially for Nectar Pay.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to validate technical, business, usability, and design requirements.
• Write test plans and cases, and maintain QA documentation and client-facing Confluence articles.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, development meetings, and Agile planning activities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software QA experience with strong test automation expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, preferably with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of web application, UI, functional, regression, and cross-browser testing.
• Professional English proficiency is required for documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Experience working in Agile development teams with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to understand business context and contribute to product usability and design validation.

Nice to have

• Software development experience, particularly with JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Cypress, Selenium, or other automation frameworks.
• Strong UI/UX sensibility and experience identifying implementation discrepancies.
• Experience testing payment platforms or transactional systems.
