CyberArk Architect (Contract)

Location: Downtown Dallas, Texas, USA; hybrid work with 3 to 4 days onsite per week

What you will do

• Define PAM architecture, standards, strategy, governance frameworks, and modernization roadmaps aligned with enterprise security and Zero Trust objectives.
• Assess existing PAM environments and design scalable target solutions covering integrations, security controls, high availability, and resiliency.
• Define privileged-access models, account lifecycles, least-privilege controls, credential management, session monitoring, and auditability requirements.
• Lead architecture reviews, client workshops, solution assurance, technical design decisions, and resolution of complex issues.
• Develop integration and automation strategies across IAM, MFA, SIEM, ITSM, cloud, and DevOps platforms.
• Mentor engineers and architects while providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in PAM, cybersecurity, identity, or related security architecture roles, including enterprise PAM design and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with CyberArk or other PAM solutions and at least 5 years designing PAM architectures, strategies, governance frameworks, standards, and roadmaps.
• At least 5 years gathering PAM business requirements, preparing technical design documents, and defining client roadmaps.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, integrations, high availability, disaster recovery, and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of least privilege, segregation of duties, privileged-account lifecycle management, credential management, session monitoring, auditability, and security controls.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience; strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Consulting or enterprise architecture experience.
• CyberArk certifications, including Certified CyberArk Delivery Engineer.
• Experience with APIs, automation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of threat modeling, security assessments, vulnerability management, and security/compliance frameworks.
• Java or another programming language and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CIA.
