Senior Analyst, Cybersecurity

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States.

What you will do

• Own QA for internal cybersecurity tools, including SIEM, vulnerability management, GRC/compliance, and identity and access management platforms.
• Create test plans, test cases, regression suites, and risk-based coverage for system changes, upgrades, and migrations.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing; document defects and track them through resolution.
• Validate data integrity, access controls, business logic, and security controls, making recommendations for improvement.
• Gather requirements, facilitate stakeholder workshops, and translate business and security needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate UAT, release readiness, go-live activities, timelines, dependencies, and quality reporting for small- to mid-size security initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• 5–7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, or a related technical role.
• Proficiency with QA methodologies, testing tools, and defect tracking or test management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience documenting business requirements, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, UAT cycles, and release readiness.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with cybersecurity tooling such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, or GRC/compliance platforms.
• Knowledge of access control, audit logging, secure SDLC, or compliance-driven environments.
• Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST frameworks.
