Business Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid in Falls Church, Virginia, United States, with on-site presence 1–2 days per week

What you will do

• Support development and help desk teams through requirements gathering, documentation, and coordination.
• Draft, edit, and maintain security policies, procedures, guidelines, handbooks, and best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, help desk staff, clients, users, and subject matter experts to collect accurate information.
• Translate complex requirements and cybersecurity concepts into clear language for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and security-policy communications.
• Review and update documentation as applications, regulations, and organizational policies change.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Public Trust Clearance required.
• Availability to work on site 1–2 days per week in Falls Church, Virginia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with careful attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and technical writing and documentation standards, including accessibility standards.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate with developers, engineers, managers, and diverse teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of RMF, NIST, and other federal cybersecurity policies.
