Trainer I (Public Safety Technology)

Location: Remote with a flexible hybrid schedule; 80% travel to headquarters and various customer travel sites is required.

Salary: $65,000–$78,000 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Deliver technical, user, and orientation training programs for customers and other stakeholders.
• Support users with hirify.global applications, platform best practices, and task-specific guidance.
• Coordinate training schedules, client demands, and progress with the Training Supervisor, Project Managers, and clients.
• Develop teaching outlines, course materials, handbooks, tutorials, and other instructional aids.
• Gather client requirements and feedback related to policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technology changes.
• Support product issues, recalls, service execution, and customer-focused implementation processes.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or training material development.
• Associate degree in Training and Development, Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, graphics software, networks, hardware, and operating systems.
• Ability to deliver effective training in person and remotely using WebEx or video tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, independence, troubleshooting, and relationship-building skills.
• Active clearance or the ability to obtain CJIS certification or an equivalent credential is required.

Nice to have

• Law enforcement experience or experience training in a law enforcement environment.
• Familiarity with hirify.global technology.
• Networking experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with Google Workspace products.
