Structure Repair Engineer (Aircraft Structures)

What you will do

• Analyze in-service aircraft structure queries and damage reports from airline customers and MRO organizations.
• Develop repair solutions and instructions in line with Airbus standards, certification, and airworthiness requirements.
• Perform static and fatigue strength analyses using relevant Airbus stress methods and tools.
• Prepare technical repair documents, drawings, and approval materials.
• Coordinate with partner Design Offices, In-Service Customer Service, Airtac, and other technical functions.
• Support repair statistics, delivery reports, lessons learned, and technical improvement or digitalization projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering; aeronautical engineering and postgraduate education are preferred.
• Experience in aircraft structures design, strength analysis, stress methods, or static, fatigue, and damage-tolerance analysis.
• Understanding of airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures and repairs.
• Knowledge of metallic and composite aircraft materials and relevant manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Proactive attitude, teamwork skills, and familiarity with Airbus in-service manuals and drawings.

Nice to have

• Aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul experience.
• Postgraduate engineering education.
