Building Wiring Technician

Location: Dallas, Texas, USA; onsite production-floor role

What you will do

• Review and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, procedures, and work instructions.
• Install wiring and assemble components in building enclosures.
• Use power tools and hand tools, including drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, and grinders.
• Perform quality checks, identify defects, and record and report issues.
• Maintain supplies, tools, parts, and a clean and safe workstation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience in wiring, assembly, or manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, engineering diagrams, and written instructions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, safety management, tools, measurements, and basic math.
• Ability to safely operate powered equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes.
• PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and hearing protection, is required on the production floor.
