Graduate Business Excellence Specialist (Orthopedics)

Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland; the role is based within the Cork site Business Excellence Team.

Base pay: €34,800–€55,775 per year.

Johnson & Johnson MedTech and DePuy Synthes develop and manufacture orthopedic and neurological medical devices, including knees and hips produced at the Cork facility.

What you will do

• Support the development and implementation of the Johnson & Johnson Production System.
• Contribute to best-in-class manufacturing performance across the Cork site.
• Work with the Business Excellence team on continuous improvement activities across the business.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to establish sustainable improvements in manufacturing performance.
• Participate in the Ireland Graduate Program under the guidance of the Business Excellence Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Process Excellence, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a similar engineering or technology discipline.
• Recent graduate from 2026 or graduating in 2027; start date is September 2027.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Data mining and reporting skills, with high capability in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and self-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to change, work independently and remotely when required, and deliver against tight timelines.

• Exposure to project management methodology.
