Software Engineer, Operational Tools (JavaScript/TypeScript)

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, reliable web applications supporting autonomous robotaxi operations.
• Build features with software engineers, product managers, designers, QA engineers, and remote operators.
• Enhance existing systems by optimizing latency, CPU and memory usage, and database queries.
• Develop tools for fleet monitoring, in-vehicle visualization, and real-time rider support.
• Work across domains on complex operational systems with visible real-world impact.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, or Python.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte, and/or backend frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools and workflows to improve productivity, code quality, and user experience.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, C, C++, or Rust.
• Familiarity with low-level Linux system protocols, firmware, and ECUs.
• Experience developing tools that support operations.
