Producer (Game Development)

Location: San Mateo, California, United States; onsite or hybrid

Salary: $88,700–$131,300 per year at the start of employment in California; total compensation may also include a bonus and/or equity awards.

What you will do

• Own production planning, schedules, delivery pipelines, and accountability for the UI tech group.
• Create and manage schedules, sprint plans, backlogs, tasks, and attainable delivery goals.
• Identify project and personnel risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
• Manage feature requests, internal backlogs, feasibility, priorities, and scope creep across teams.
• Resolve issues, eliminate bottlenecks, optimize production processes, and reduce redundancy.
• Coordinate departmental updates and communication with producers, directors, team leads, and development groups.

Requirements

• Experience acting as a consistent and accountable production department owner.
• Fundamental understanding of game development pipelines, processes, and discipline-specific concepts.
• Minimum intermediate Jira experience and a strong understanding of Agile processes.
• Strong written, verbal, and public-speaking communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
• Ability to plan adaptively, meet deadlines, collaborate across teams, and solve complex production problems.
• Proven understanding of visual and functional quality, team dynamics, and delivery execution.
