Senior Manager, Business Strategy

Location: Purpose Building AR Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, United States

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Shape and communicate network, automation, and market strategies across Walmart’s markets.
• Develop executive presentations, strategy papers, and decision materials for strategic reviews and capital approval forums.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative inputs, alternatives, trade-offs, and business implications.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Technology, and market leaders to align priorities.
• Translate long-term strategies into actionable plans and connect dependencies, risks, opportunities, and capital plans across initiatives.
• Address emerging strategic questions by gathering information and delivering timely recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or a related field plus 4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience without the degree.
• Experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or a related area.
• Ability to structure complex problems and develop fact-based recommendations.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills for senior leadership audiences.
• Ability to synthesize information, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver accurate, leadership-ready work products.
