Infrastructure and DevOps Architect

Location: Hybrid role based at an assigned site in Phoenix, Arizona, with additional locations in Santa Clara, California, and Hillsboro, Oregon, United States.

Annual salary: $137,610–$265,870 USD

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure for data science and decision support applications.
• Build and maintain deployment pipelines and automation for reliable software delivery.
• Own platform reliability, security posture, and delivery velocity.
• Establish secure infrastructure practices for increasingly sensitive data.
• Design and document reusable infrastructure reference patterns in an environment with limited centralized platform support.
• Communicate infrastructure and security concepts across development, data science, and security disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field, plus 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years administering and troubleshooting Linux systems, networking fundamentals, DNS, firewalls, and common network protocols.
• Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting, Git, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi, or Ansible.
• Advanced English proficiency and strong cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes-native workflow orchestration with Argo Workflows, Airflow, or Prefect.
• Terraform expertise, observability with Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, or Loki, and CI/CD security scanning with Trivy, Wiz, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with FastAPI or Flask, MongoDB, MariaDB, MySQL, NoSQL databases, and Azure storage.
• Master's or PhD, along with additional relevant industry experience.
