Clinical Trials Feasibility Analyst

Location: Durham, North Carolina, United States of America. Individuals located in the U.S. or Canada can be considered. Preference is given to candidates in the West Coast time zone. Candidates with fewer years of experience may be considered if they can commit to a hybrid work schedule onsite in South San Francisco.

Salary: $88,300–$220,900 annualized base pay.

What you will do

• Use Python and SQL to query, aggregate, analyze, and interpret clinical trial operations data.
• Support clinical operational strategy, study feasibility, design optimization, and site selection.
• Collaborate with clinical study teams to define analytics needs and deliver tailored analyses.
• Work with real-world data, including medical claims and electronic health record data.
• Format analytical outputs so study teams can understand and apply the insights.
• Maintain data quality and integrity and communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience supporting clinical trial operational feasibility, design, and analytics; previous clinical trial analytics experience is required.
• Experience at a clinical research organization or pharmaceutical company conducting study feasibility and site selection analytics.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, engineering, computer science, statistics, or machine learning; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Moderate proficiency in Python and SQL for data querying, aggregation, and analysis.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience with medical claims and electronic health record data.
• Understanding of the clinical development process and experience communicating country, site, investigator, patient, and key opinion leader insights.
