Data Analytics Engineer 2 (Banking)

Location: On-site at the Financial Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the area.

What you will do

• Develop and test analytical databases, queries, views, reports, dashboards, and automated business intelligence tools.
• Collect, analyze, and share data to improve business metrics, customer experience, and business results.
• Design data models and reporting tools for more efficient reporting, analysis, planning, and forecasting.
• Support integrations between analytical platforms, enterprise systems, and applications, including data conversions and transfers.
• Troubleshoot analytics tools, track performance and production issues, and support performance tuning.
• Maintain data quality and metadata documentation while collaborating with Business Information and Data Analysts.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of related technical experience, including 3 years supporting a major business intelligence or data warehousing system.
• Proficiency in banking and financial data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical models and entity-relational modeling technologies.
• Experience with Python, Microsoft development and integration services, Tibco, .NET or Java, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or Cognos Analytics.
• Experience with secure coding, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks using Azure DevOps and Python.
• Strong data analysis and data mining skills, plus excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• BA or BS degree required; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
