Senior Fullstack Engineer (React/Java)

Location: Jersey City, NJ, United States

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and operate accessible, mobile-first ecommerce experiences with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
• Design distributed, microservices-based, and event-driven systems for high-volume commerce transactions.
• Build and operate cloud-native solutions using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD.
• Develop AI-powered applications, intelligent agents, and agent-based workflows that deliver measurable customer and business value.
• Lead architecture and code reviews, mentor engineers, support production systems, and drive incident response and root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience delivering and operating production-grade ecommerce systems.
• Strong frontend experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong backend experience with Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, distributed services, and event-driven systems.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, cloud-native applications, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, observability, and performance optimization.
• Experience with production support, on-call rotations, automated testing, Git, Agile delivery, technical leadership, communication, and mentoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, AI-powered applications, intelligent agents, or agent-based workflow automation.
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager, or other enterprise ecommerce platforms.
• Experience with Kafka or equivalent event-streaming platforms, GraphQL, and modern API gateway patterns.
