Vending Technician (Industrial Products)

Location: Binghamton, New York, United States; daily travel to local customer sites is required

Salary: $22–24 per hour

What you will do

• Deliver and replenish industrial products, gases, consumables, safety products, and vending or storeroom items.
• Service vending account customers and customer cabinets or storerooms across an assigned territory.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on vending systems.
• Review inventory levels across customer plant departments and identify reorder needs.
• Maintain branch inventory levels and track delivery and consignment fill tickets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and age 21 or older required.
• Prior experience in inventory management, customer service, sales, or PC help desk support.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and demonstrate mechanical and technological competence.
• Ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and work with limited standardization.

Nice to have

• At least two years of experience in product distribution or inventory management.
• Experience with welding, safety, or related industrial products.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Knowledge of hirify.global safety programs, OSHA, and applicable regulations.
