Analyst, Business Unit & Sales Strategy

Location: Chicago, IL — Chicago/Aon Center

Salary: $77,800–$97,300 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze sales, distribution, merchandising, innovation, velocity, and broker performance to support weekly and monthly Business Unit Sales routines.
• Support the development and execution of annual operating plans for assigned categories.
• Support new product launches through sell-in, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Develop category and brand strategy recommendations for pricing, distribution, shelving, and merchandising.
• Use retail analytics and multiple data sources to create insights-based category selling stories.
• Prepare recurring analyses, reports, presentations, seasonal forecasts, and category waste-risk communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in business, sales, data analytics, retail, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, balance competing priorities, and improve reporting processes.
• Required proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
