Account Analyst (Sales Analytics)

Location: Remote within the United States; Eastern or Central time zone preferred. Occasional travel to the Bethesda, Maryland area may be required.

Salary: $48,500–$71,170 per year.

What you will do

• Support the Account Manager in developing and executing sales and marketing programs for grocery chain customers.
• Develop, release, and execute planograms that improve customer satisfaction, sales profitability, space utilization, and inventory allocation.
• Analyze store data and provide technical and analytical support to Category Managers for product placement.
• Coordinate vendors and internal teams on planograms, new items, advertisements, grand openings, and customer requests.
• Monitor competitor activity, recommend responses, and implement approved plans.
• Maintain databases for promotions, price changes, cost changes, item maintenance, sales activities, accounts, and receivables.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least two years of experience selling grocery products to chain accounts.
• Understanding of category management, strong quantitative and analytical skills, and ability to learn shelf merchandising tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, tables, conditional formatting, charts, pivot tables, and reporting.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and work flexible hours, including some weekends.
