Filling Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Alliston, Ontario, Canada; onsite day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00–15:00 EST

Salary: $26.55 CAD per hour, plus a potential shift premium

What you will do

• Perform filling operations for IV solutions in various bag sizes.
• Visually inspect IV bag assemblies for fill volume, air volume, codes, expiration dates, lot numbers, and other quality characteristics.
• Place filled bags into protective over-wrap, operate sealing equipment, and load sealed assemblies onto sterilizer trucks.
• Use scales to verify fill volume and perform quality checks throughout the process.
• Document rejected units and rework bags when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles and report safety, quality, mechanical, or discrepancy issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; proof will be requested.
• Experience performing repetitive tasks and working in a fast-paced or assembly-line environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or quality within a GMP environment, or in the food or manufacturing industry.
• Ability to pass an ergonomic assessment and perform essential job duties around machinery, belts, and elevated noise levels.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, quality focus, and strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work weekends when required.
