B200 Media, Buffer, Washing and Sterilizing (MBWS) Operations Manager - Night (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Toronto, ON; onsite night shift from 10 PM to 6 AM

What you will do

• Oversee MBWS manufacturing operations in Building 200, including buffer preparation, washing and sterilizing, and raw materials.
• Lead a night-shift team of 4–5 unionized employees and coordinate daily shop-floor execution.
• Develop production schedules, track operational performance, and manage communication and escalation across shifts.
• Ensure current operating procedures, training plans, and manufacturing documentation support compliant production.
• Guide troubleshooting, deviation resolution, CAPAs, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support digital manufacturing systems, including DeltaV automation, electronic batch records, automated systems, and e-logbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
• 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing, or a similar environment.
• Experience leading manufacturing operations, personnel development, safety, and cGMP compliance.
• Ability to work onsite in Toronto on the 10 PM–6 AM night shift.
• Understanding of HAZOP and HAZID for operations equipment and processes.
