Bilingual Relationship Banker

Location: Ellicott City, Maryland, United States of America; onsite branch role with face-to-face customer interactions.

Salary: $22.61–$37.67 hourly (USD)

What you will do

• Assess customer needs, identify sales opportunities, open accounts, and make appropriate referrals.
• Conduct proactive outreach by phone and email to onboard customers, schedule appointments, and educate clients about relevant products and services.
• Prepare for and conduct customer appointments, provide servicing support, and build trusted relationships with existing clients.
• Research customer profiles and transition discussions toward financial goals and needs-based solutions.
• Support branch sales, service, and referral goals while managing customer flow and staying current on product and system changes.
• Apply risk controls, fraud-prevention practices, KYC, CIP, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus at least two years of retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience; alternatively, at least one year of proactive sales experience.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, customer service, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Financial services product knowledge and the ability to communicate tactfully with internal and external customers.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English and a specified second language; proficiency is assessed.
• Proficiency with internet user-level technology and the ability to meet Federal SAFE Act registration requirements.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, use communication equipment, read fine print, and lift objects weighing 5–30 pounds.
