Senior Software Product Manager (Retail)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; willingness to travel internationally required.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, revenue growth, profitability, pricing, and lifecycle cost optimization of retail device lifecycle software solutions.
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to guide product strategy and decisions.
• Define and prioritize technical requirements within agile development processes.
• Collaborate with software development, R&D, sales, service, marketing, and international subsidiaries.
• Present software products and features to sales organizations and customers, supporting complex offerings and customized solutions.
• Manage software-related services, product positioning, communications, quality, releases, and performance reporting.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in software product management, software solutions, or software development.
• Strong understanding of software architectures, APIs, integrations, cloud, and enterprise software environments.
• Experience with agile methodologies, requirement management, and product lifecycle management.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance customer value, technical feasibility, and business outcomes.
• Fluent English required, along with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
