Techno-Functional QA Engineer (Financial Markets)

The role supports a project for a leading global trading platform focused on surveillance technology and managed services for third parties.

What you will do

• Define test strategies, objectives, scope, acceptance criteria, and test cases based on risk and business impact.
• Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, and release validation for trading applications.
• Reproduce, analyse, document, and track defects while collaborating with developers and QA teams to validate fixes.
• Contribute to test automation and CI/CD activities using BDD, Jenkins, Git, Linux, Python, Shell, and databases.
• Report test progress, risks, coverage, and results, and improve QA processes and practices.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software testing, QA, or a related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of functional testing, BDD, test automation frameworks, defect analysis, documentation, and tracking.
• Technical knowledge of Linux, Jenkins pipelines, Git, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with database management, backend/API testing, and structured testing reports.
• Experience in banking, brokerage, or financial markets.
• Fluent English and Portuguese required.
