Annual base salary: $99,507.00–$164,559.00

What you will do

• Lead system redesign and hospital process improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, patient-care quality, and organizational performance.
• Create, revise, and maintain project charters, detailed project plans, proposals, and action plans with directors, executives, chiefs, and department leadership.
• Gather and analyze operational and financial data, prepare reports for hospital leadership, and develop dashboards for key performance indicators.
• Apply lean design principles and lead GEMBA, Kaizen, and other performance improvement activities.
• Coordinate stakeholders across departments, resolve resource-related issues, and lead change management for new processes and technologies.
• Mentor junior process architects and support their professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience, with combined education and experience accepted as a substitute for the minimum experience.
• Previous performance improvement experience and knowledge of lean principles, tools, and techniques.
• Strategic planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• LA City Fire Life Safety Training is required; certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not held upon hiring and maintained through renewal.

Nice to have

• MHA or MBA degree.
• Job-relevant Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
