Senior Accountant

Location: Austin, TX — Bridgepoint Parkway; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually. Additional compensation range: $69,300–$103,900 annually.

What you will do

• Manage treasury activities related to incentive processing, prefunds, reimbursements, and variance reconciliations.
• Code and record daily bank activity, transfer funds, and reconcile bank accounts.
• Apply customer payments, resolve unapplied payments, and set up and verify wire payments through bank portals.
• Match merchant settlements to reports and upload settlement details to the ERP.
• Support month-end close, prepare reconciliations, analyze variances, and process journal entries.
• Provide internal and external audit support and prepare ad hoc reports for special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably as a cash or treasury accountant.
• Advanced knowledge of accrual accounting, complex reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, TEXT functions, pivot tables, and data import/export.
• Experience with bank portals, payment applications, and merchant settlements.
• US work authorization without employer immigration or visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday or other accounting systems.
• Experience with the JPM Access portal.
