Collection Analyst

Location: Heredia, Costa Rica; the role is listed as hybrid and also described as fully remote.

What you will do

• Manage inbound and outbound client communications by phone and email regarding payments and collections.
• Document and communicate resolutions for billing discrepancies and account issues.
• Coordinate communication between customers and internal collectors to resolve inquiries accurately and promptly.
• Manage accounts receivable records and update collection activities in the ERP system.
• Analyze aging reports, escalate high-risk accounts, and support financial close and reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Credit teams to improve collection efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma; a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar financial platforms.
• Knowledge of accounting principles related to receivables and collections.
• Experience with aging reports, reconciliations, and financial close processes.
